AllieJane DeSoto, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
AllieJane DeSoto joins our team at Flagstaff Speech Solutions with 11 years of experience in the field, 4 years as an SLPA and 7 years as an SLP. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2019 and was inspired to enter the field by her love of working with kids and helping others communicate and connect.
She has worked across a wide range of settings, including home health, teletherapy, hospital, school-based services, and private practice. This diverse experience has shaped her flexible, individualized, and family-centered approach to therapy.
AllieJane especially enjoys working with preschool and school-age children in the areas of language development, AAC, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and social/pragmatic communication. She has experience supporting children with ASD, cerebral palsy, language delays, and AAC needs. Her therapy style is neuro-affirming and creative, and she enjoys thinking outside the box to find what works best for each child.

At Flagstaff Speech Solutions, AllieJane wants families to feel that she sees their child as a whole person, not just a set of goals. She values building strong relationships, celebrating meaningful progress, and helping families feel supported and understood throughout their journey.
Outside of work, AllieJane enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with her family. She grew up riding horses and still rides frequently with her two beautiful daughters. Her family also enjoys hunting, camping, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, gardening, and traveling. She has 14 pets, loves gardening (but jokes she "kills everything she plants"), can burp the ABCs, and is an Arizona native.
AllieJane holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Arizona.
Alexa Lynn, SLPA
Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Alexa graduated with her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University in May 2026 and is excited to join Flagstaff Speech Solutions this June as an SLPA. She will begin her Clinical Fellowship this August.
Her passion for speech-language pathology began at just 16 years old, when a high school job shadow introduced her to the incredible impact of the field. Since then, Alexa has gained experience across private practice, elementary school, preschool, and early intervention settings, giving her a well-rounded perspective when supporting children and families.
Alexa especially enjoys working with early intervention and school-age children in the areas of language, speech sound disorders, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Her therapy style is play-based, child-led, and intentionally fun because she believes children learn best when they feel connected, comfortable, and engaged. She is passionate about helping every child find their voice and building strong relationships with the families she serves.

At Flagstaff Speech Solutions, Alexa's goal is to create a supportive environment where families feel heard, encouraged, and cared for from the very beginning. She loves that every child brings something unique to therapy and that no two days in this field are ever the same.
Outside of the therapy room, Alexa enjoys trying new recipes, attending country concerts, and spending time outdoors. Originally from Northwest Washington, she has proudly called Flagstaff home for the past six years. She grew up swimming competitively and still feels happiest near the water. Alexa is also the proud owner of Glub, her seven-year-old, one-eyed goldfish who has clearly mastered resilience.
Alexa is licensed to practice as an SLPA in the state of Arizona.
